To reinforce its team, our client is looking for a passionate and international-minded SaaS Data & Product Manager.

Job description

As a SaaS Data & Product Manager, you are the consummate team player, adept at managing relationships, collaborating, and influencing across a variety of organizational functions. You will set product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with your Research and Development (R&D) teammates.

Talk2M is our connectivity cloud platform, supporting many of our market-leading hardware products. Just as the cloud platform co-exists with the physical products, you will be a part of a Product Management team and need to collaborate and communicate with openness and clarity.

Since this is a SaaS-like product, most of your decisions should be supported by internal data. However, you should be prepared to make decisions with imperfect information. Furthermore, you must know how to lead without authority and be comfortable managing chaos, ambiguity, and complexity.

You must possess a unique blend of big-picture vision (strategy) and the drive to make that vision a reality (tactics). It’s not only important to know how to find answers, but it’s just as important to know the right questions to ask of the market. As such, you must enjoy spending time with the market understand the difference between customer problems and market problems.

You will work with our R&D team to define product release requirements based on market problems. You will also work with Technical Support, Marketing, and Business Development Managers to help define the go-to-market strategy by providing key product and market insights.

Your key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the Talk2M database to draw key insights on our current customer base and their trends,
  • Know why we are winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create improvement,
  • Keep a finger on the market and understand how to separate hype from real added value,
  • Act as the “messenger of the market” from the outside-in to the rest of the organization,
  • Collaborate with other members of Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure Talk2M is utilized to the full extent as our key differentiator.

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor or a Master degree,
  • You speak fluently French and English. German is an asset.
  • You have a first experience (min. 3 or 5 years) in marketing, sales, or product management experience in a SaaS company,
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information,
  • Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making,
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint),
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Aha,
  • Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and users,
  • This position requires domestic and international travel to customer meetings and tradeshows, up to 25 percent.
