A career in SME?

Whether you are just out of university or very experienced, whether your background is with large or small companies, SMEs have a lot to offer. In a SME, often everything has to be built. It’s a challenge for its creators but also for its employees who have a part to play in its success. Joining a SME, it means joining a small team that can quickly develop. It’s giving yourself a chance to grow within a dynamic structure and to rapidly acquire new responsibilities. In a human size business, the work of each employee is more easily appreciated and recognized. Working for a SME entails acquiring a rich and fulfilling experience for the CV. And learning on the job new tasks, sometimes quite remote from the initial education.

Working in a small structure requires initiative and autonomy. You have to be flexible and multi skilled. Most employees in a SME appreciate the freedom they are given and the proximity with its leaders. They have a feeling of belonging to an entity and contributing to its development, as their actions can have direct repercussions on the company’s results.
