The Business Development Manager is responsible for business development in the region assigned by our client (Netherlands). She/He is the first contact for new potential and existing clients and will follow them during full lifecycle of the contract in order to maximize license renewal.

The Business Development Manager will report to the Sales Director.

She/He will:

  • Lead business development and sales in the region;
  • Realize sales in line with the set targets and provide the training and support to these customers in combination with our client’s team members if agreed.
  • Conceptual representation and sales of the business model and products/solutions;
  • Business development, exploration and identification of new sales opportunities;
  • Promote the unique value of our client;
  • Support customers with demonstrations, presentations and other representation activities
  • Support other channels in the territory
  • Develop a product introduction and life-cycle approach at each account;
  • Proactively define specific action plans for the accounts;
  • Define and implement operational account plans with specific commercial initiatives and actions;
  • Implement customer projects that add value to current and future customers and business development;
  • Identify and involve all stakeholders in the client's management structure;
  • Ensure the implementation of client ambassador programs;
  • Take ownership of the full lifecycle of the contract/license, and maximize license renewal;
  • Act as the reference person for the clinical application in the territory;
  • Develop / facilitate relationships with KOLs, medical boards and communities / associations and develop partnerships with these centers;
  • Represent our client at conference and networking events to strengthen the company's market presence and brand;
  • Act as a market expert by identifying / reporting information on competition, market trends, market share, identifying business development opportunities;
  • Implement professional training activities for targeted key accounts;
  • Pass business development, exploration and newly identified opportunities to sales management and product management.
  • Ensure diligent reporting on sales, prospection and business activities, actual versus budget and sales potential funnel management in the CRM, ERP and other company tools.
  • Provide client and other feedback on the solutions to our client also using the proper reporting tools, helpdesk and others


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field
