Our Client is a company specialized In Data Protection, exclusively dedicated to the Life Sciences sector. Our Client provides strategic, operational and organizational support, making an important contribution both legally and technically to the success of the Data Protection implementation and the company as a whole.

They know the sector, their goal is to give clients the keys to reach a full compliance with Data Protection regulations and ensure the protection of the data.

Today the company runs more than 180 projects in the Life Sciences sector, including more or less 120 in the clinical sector, all over the world.


The Data Protection Manager is an integral part of the team providing the services offered by the company. His/her academic and professional career was built around the main sector targeted by the company: the Life Sciences. His/her skills are then developed internally or before, in the field of Data Protection. S/he works primarily as a project manager and as a DPO for clients. His/her tasks include counseling, data protection analysis, client representative to subjects and supervisory authorities. So s/he is the first point of contact. This function can manage other people: the Data Protection Manager Associate.

Mains tasks:

  • Project management and coordination
  • Participate in meetings with customers
  • Perform data protection gap analysis (DPGA)
  • Carry out the Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
  • Develop procedures, guidelines and templates
  • Give advice and recommendations on data protection
  • As a data protection expert, stay informed about the latest developments in this area
  • Organize internal information sessions on practical data protection developments in the Life Sciences sector in order to keep the operational knowledge up-to-date.


Technical skills:

  • Put into practice his/her solid knowledge of the GDPR and the protection of data in general
  • Relate his/her strong knowledge of the field of Life Sciences to GDPR and to data protection
  • Put into practice his/her leadership and persuasion skills
  • Be able to manage some persons in a benevolent and efficient way
  • Have an analytical mind
  • Demonstrate a good ability to interpret and react
  • Master one or more foreign languages
  • Travel abroad
  • Knowledge of clinical studies and GCP is an asset.
