Our Client is a clinical stage, medical technology company headquartered in Wavre, Belgium. Based on its innovative, proprietary material, our Client has developed a pipeline of next-generation ophthalmic systems against Glaucoma. Glaucoma is the second leading cause of adult blindness globally. This technology represents the most promising and fastest-growing therapeutic option in the treatment of this disease.

Talent Acquisition

  • Prepare and review the annual recruitment Plan with the Steering Committee.
  • Lead the attraction and selection process in collaboration with key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Equip and support the hiring managers with the right skills and tools to select the best talent.
  • Manage, update and maintain the various recruitment communication channels (websites, social media).
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external recruitment companies.

Staff Management

  • Set-up strategies and processes for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development.
  • Coach People Managers to effectively manage their own teams.
  • Ensure the compliance to the developed strategies and processes about people management and Individual Development Plan.
  • Lead implementation of a Continuous Development Plan for the employees.


  • Participate to the development of the company benefits.
  • Initiate benchmarking analysis in order to maintain a competitive salary policy.
  • Act as soft skills facilitator in the company.


  • You own a Master Degree ideally in HR, Psychology, Social Law or Economics
  • You have at least 10 years of professional experience including experience within Recruitment and Talent Management.
  • You have a good experience in recruitment and/or talent management in the Life Sciences sector (Medical Devices or Pharma) and you have an excellent understanding of the different roles within this industry (Clinical, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, etc.)
  • You are proactive, autonomous and well organized.
  • You are a passionate coach, an inspiring people development leader who puts wellbeing to the next level.
  • You are energetic, bring a positive vibe and think in creative solutions.
  • You have strong communication, interpersonal skills and strong Team Spirit.
  • You are available for a part-time (3rd/5) and within one year available for a full-time.


Our Client offers a full-time permanent position along with an attractive remuneration package.

The position is based in Belgium (Wavre) and has an international scope.

You will be part of a highly skilled (engineers, scientists) and dynamic team headed by a solid management team. The team is very stable, a large part of the staff is present since the beginning in 2011.
