Infrastructure Engineer - Audiovisual - Bruxelles

Since 2005 our client is a worldwide leading provider of services to digitize, migrate, preserve, monetize and provide access to audio-visual (Audio, Video, Film and Images) recordings of any format and data formats. They work for the biggest names in media, broadcast, cultural institutions, national libraries, universities, businesses, governments and international organizations. Over the last 5 years, they have extensively invested in R&D, technical development and engineering with their own developments in high performance storage solutions, robotic, software solutions for workflow and ingest management, as well as quality management methodologies and business processes.

The role of the Infrastructure Engineer is to ensure the proper functioning of existing IT infrastructures, to maintain them and to make them evolve according to the needs and new technical solutions. The role is also to design and ensure the implementation of infrastructures on operating sites. Your main responsibilities will be to :

• Ensure proper functioning of existing infrastructure
• Implement and maintain IT security
• Implement and maintain networks
• Work in cooperation with the system administrator

Minimum education:

• Master’s degree in computer science with strong focus on It infrastructure or by equivalent experience

Minimum experience:

• 3 years in Infrastructure Engineering
• French: written and verbal fluency (B2)
• English: written and verbal fluency (B2)

Professional Competencies:

• Networking technologies: Firewalls, Switches, NAC, iSCSI,etc.
• Servers & Storage solution( SAN,ZFS,Samba).
• Windows & Linux administration.
• Vpn (openVpn, Ipsec)
• Virtualisation (ESXi, HyperV)
• Cloud active directory
• Network security
• Infrastructure management & monitoring

Considered as a plus:

• Knowledge of ITIL framework, NIST and ISO27001.
• Interest in audio-visual and cultural heritage
