To sustain their growth in Europe and Middle East, they are looking for an Experienced Technical Sales Representative in charge of his/her territories including BeNeLux, Brazil, Russia, Poland, Finland, Israel and Middle East.

Your role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to work closely with our customers in collaboration with the Global sales team to grow and promote the sale of process integration and optimization software.

The Technical Sales Representative will be the first line of contact with all new customers and as well as manage existing strategic accounts in the assigned region. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships with new and current customers (both direct and via distributors) in Belgium, Brazil, Russia, The Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Israel and the Middle East.

The role includes the following key responsibilities :

  • Grow sales within existing client base and via new business development
  • Identify and resolve client concerns professionally and swiftly
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers to arrange joint visits to clients
  • Consistently improve knowledge of CAE applications as well as process integration and design optimization software
  • Attend and participate in monthly sales meetings, annual kick off meetings, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events as required
  • Keep management and other relevant internal departments apprised on customer needs, problems, interests and potential for new products and services
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing and marketing strategies
  • Keep up-to-date records of sales activities and customer contact information in Salesforce

Your profile to be successful

  • Master in (Mechanical) Engineering or Bachelor with 3 additional years relevant working experience
  • 4-6 years of proven field sales experience necessary
  • Technical software background with knowledge of CAE applications
  • Outstanding level of English, both written and spoken
  • Any other European language is an asset
  • Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
  • Microsoft Office proficiency including experience with Salesforce
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, agile and dynamic work environment

  • A valid driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently
