Pharmaceutical Senior Project Manager - CDMO - Brabant Wallon


Our client is a young high-tech CDMO (Contract Dev. & Manuf. Org.) with very strong growth potential specializing in injectable cancer pharmaceuticals.

Their major asset is the presence, on the same site in Braine L'Alleud, of a manufacturing entity as well as a highly integrated Research and Development unit. Job Purpose

Within the R&D department located in Braine L'Alleud, you occupy a crucial function as an interface between the company and its customers in the realization of their projects.


  • Coordinate with the R&D teams the technical requirements of the projects (process and analytical) in order to estimate the impact on the activities of the various departments (R&D and others).
  • You are responsible for the implementation and coordination of the appropriate operations and necessary for optimal project management, in close collaboration with others departments: R&D, Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance.
  • You ensure the daily follow-up, internal coordination and reporting of ongoing projects with the goal to anticipate risks and customer needs and deliver on time, on budget required expected qualities.
  • You will coordinate the transfer of development projects to production, namely the qualification and validation of pharmaceutical processes.
  • As the customer's privileged contact person, you ensure and develop the confidence of through proactive, empathetic and assertive communication.
  • In addition to the main function, the Senior Project Manager ensures a coaching role for the new Project Managers Phahired (PMO tools and project management, working in pairs on some projects in order to facilitate their integration) and takes over from the PMO Manager in the representative in meetings that he or she would not be able to attend.


  • Higher education: Pharmacist / Doctor, Engineer or Master in scientific orientation (chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven experience in sterile product production and technology transfer is a significant asset
  • Working knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Excellent knowledge of project management (PMP, PRINCE2 or any other certification) training in project management methodology is a plus)
