Quality Control Officer - Medical Device - Liège

Our Client is an innovative medical device company based in Mont-Saint-Guibert and Liège (but also in Israël and Australia) that is currently developing a novel neurostimulation technology to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). The mission of the company is to provide their users, with the freedom to enjoy life to its fullest by delivering reliable, durable and harmonious solutions to treat OSA.

Job Purpose

As they are building new facilities for the production, our client is looking for a Quality Control Officer to help them grow and improve their product. The candidate will endorse polyvalent responsibilities on order to contribute to face a scaling-up phase.

Your role

As part of the Quality department, you will be responsible of the inspection, testing, and documentation of the product. You’ll also be in charge of a clean room environment, microscope, electrical tools and the calibration of the equipments. You’ll work in collaboration with the Quality Engineer.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for incoming inspection of components and materials
  • You perform in-process and finish good inspection according to the product specification
  • You conduct visual, electrical, dimensional and quality documentation verification and communicate required adjustments
  • You meet defined timelines and execution of tasks according to production priorities
  • You communicate with suppliers vendors for quality issues and initiate a Non Conformance as required


Must Have

  • You have between 3 of 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • You are fluent in English and French (reading, writing and speaking)
  • You have an experience and background in Medical Device
  • You have an experience in clean room environment and work with microscope
  • You are well versed in the full cycle (all levels) inspection process
  • You are multitasking and ability to work under pressure
  • You are Team player and have interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • You have knowledge in mechanical drawings
  • You are hands-on with electrical engineering
  • You have experience in electrical practical engineering
  • You have knowledge in IPC and J-STD
