R&D Project Manager -Medtech - Brussels

Our Client is is a medical devices company active in gastro-enterology. The company is dedicated to the development of innovative devices providing new means of therapeutic interventions for gastroenterologists. It is a spin-off from Université libre de Bruxelles, based on a collaboration between the engineers of the engineering school and the gastroenterologists from Erasme Hospital.

The company is active in Europe and the US.

• You plan specific phases of project realization with the different departments of the company (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Production, etc.)
• You plan the different tasks and allocate the responsibility to the members of the team.
• You ensure a clear and transparent communication within the organization.
• You are in charge of the respect of deadlines and budget.
• You are responsible for technical writing of specific documents.

• You have a Master Degree in Engineering (preferably in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanics or Electromechanics).
• You have, at least, 4 years’ experience as Project Manager or Project Engineer.
• You have already acquired experience (by leading or participating) in DHF (design, strategy& writing)
• You have ideally an experience in the Medical Devices sector and more specifically with ISO 13485 regulation.
• You have developed expertise with other regulations/environment such as ISO 14971 , ISO 62366, 21 CFR, etc.
• You are an hands-on person with a good sense of communication.
• You are a flexible and an open-minded person with good organizational skills.
• You are fluent in English. French is a plus
