R&D Test Engineer - Medical Device - Mont-saint-Guibert
Our client is a company that aims to develop and commercialize next generation active implantable medical devices and biosensors for the treatment of neurological disorders as well as sensory and motor rehabilitation, using a wide range of technologies such as electronics, embedded software and signal processing, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, material sciences and optics.
They are seeking for a R&D Test Engineer to be part of a nice and growing team. She/He will be involved in the development and implementation of various processes including testing and production set-ups for our new class III implantable neurostimulator.
You will have responsibilities such as :
Development of R&D and production set-ups for electronics and optoelectronics testing
Measurement and characterization of devices, including electronic circuit, optical components, and ASICs
Support and transfer to production with various subcontractors, most of them abroad
University or High School Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar - open to first-time job seekers but with a preference for a couple of years of experience
PCB design and routing as well as embedded programming is strongly recommended
Knowledge, experience, and affinities in some of the following: signal processing, image treatment, embedded electronics hardware and software development, analog and digital electronics design, microcontroller/FPGA/DSP programming, PCB development, mathematical and electronics simulation software
Additional interesting knowledge: optical and/or laser systems, biomedical engineering development
Practical, thorough, hands-on approach
Showing attention to details, with the ability to cope with the complexities and tensions of a rapidly developing program
Good knowledge of medical devices regulatory environment or ISO9001 is an asset
Labview programming is a plus but not mandatory
Passionate about Biomedical Engineering, medical devices, technology and innovation.
Able and willing to work and evolve in a start-up atmosphere.
Organisational, flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritizes multiple projects, addresses multiple issues and handle multiple deadlines in a hands-on environment.
