Sales Executive Germany


Our Client is a simulation innovation partner to manufacturers in automotive, aerospace and other engineering-intense industries. Specialized in simulation process integration and design optimization, their flagship product is a multi-objective optimization software which helps customers adopt an "Engineer by Objective" development strategy.

The software platform identifies the best design candidates by managing a parametric simulation campaign and using the software tools of customers. After evaluating the proposed design candidates, customers pick the most optimal and robust design option to verify in detail and take into production. This winning multidisciplinary design optimization strategy delivers the best product in the shortest time possible while saving tremendously on resources.

In July 2010, the Company joined an international Group
of companies focused on Computer Aided Engineering. The Company operates through a network of subsidiaries and representatives in key locations around the world.


The position is reporting to Company Sales Director. The region includes mainly Germany but also German speaking countries like Austria and the German speaking part of Switzerland.

General Responsibility :

Implement sales strategy and tactics to achieve growth of annual Sales in a specific region and help position the Company for future growth ;

Specific responsibilities for the region include :

  • Conduct Direct Sales ;
  • Conduct marketing activities in support of Sales ;
  • Contribute to establish and grow strategic partnerships ;
  • Provide Forecasts, business plans and reports as needed by Management.


  • 5 years of experience in sales/account management/business development positions
  • Experience of selling high-value technical solutions
  • Good knowledge of CAE/CAD/FEA tools or Simulation/Engineering software / market
  • Experience and good understanding of at least one of the following markets/industries : Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Life Sciences, Energy, Industrial Equipment
  • Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Native level in German and good knowledge of English
  • Open to travel regularly
  • Assertive, proactive, results oriented, good team Player
  • Strong communication skills and excellent presentation
  • Pragmatic and commercial mind set, passionate about technology
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to keep cool head and to think clearly in unexpected situations


Fixed Contract, full time job
Location : The location will be flexible but ideally close to München, Stuttgart, Ulm, Trier, Saarbrücken, Mainz, Wiesbaden, GD Luxembourg or BE-Luxembourg.
