Sales Executive - Insulating Material - DACH

Our client is specialized in the distribution of a wide range of mica-based insulating materials. These products are sold to more than 300 customers worldwide (Germany, France, Poland, Japan, etc.).

This international trading platform, located in Fleurus (Charleroi), relies on its main strengths: speed and flexibility.

Job Purpose

In order to strengthen their team, our client is looking for a Sales Executive to optimize their product sales.

Your role

The person will be in charge of covering and expanding the German-speaking market in the first instance. He/she will also be responsible for maintaining a good relationship with existing customers and prospecting potential customers.

Your responsibilities

  • You manage a commercial budget for your geographical area
  • You realise prospecting and visits to potential customers in existing or new territories
  • You carry out the commercial administration (follow-up of offers, analysis of customer demand, loyalty, technical support, etc.)
  • You contact and visit customers in your geographical areas
  • You participate in trade shows
  • You evaluate customer satisfaction
  • You carry out a complete follow-up of your sales from the request to the logistics
  • You are proactive for your customer by staying informed of the status of the order and actively participate in its preparation

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in foreign trade, marketing and/or you have an equivalent experience in the sale of industrial products
  • You have a very good level in German, English and French (read, spoken and written). Any other language is an asset
  • You are passionate about sales
  • You are result-oriented and you do everything possible to achieve this
  • You have a positive mentality and you like to work in a young and dynamic atmosphere
  • You are proactive, versatile and you do not hesitate to help your colleagues when needed
  • You are a good listener
