Senior QMS Specialist - Medical Device - Liège

Our Client is an innovative Medical Devices company based in Liège. The company has been developing for more than 30 years a range of innovative products, designed in partnership with ophthalmic surgeons and in close cooperation with specialized research centres and universities.

Their expertise covers all steps of development and manufacture of intraocular lenses extending from polymer chemistry to sterilization processes, responding to the strictest requirements in quality.

Job Purpose

In order to strengthen their Quality System, my client is looking for a Senior QMS Specialist.

Your role

The person will be in charge to manage the quality system for compliance and effectiveness regarding document and data control.

Your responsibilities

  • You are Responsible for document/data control

  • You participate to QMS processes improvement

  • You coordinate and perform projects including system validation and documents/data processes improvement

  • You coordinate any new eQMS implementation into the organization.

  • You ensure compliance of the eQMS with internal activities and ISO 13485 requirements.

  • You perform audits as lead auditor and manage external audits

  • You participate in implementation of global systems and validation


  • You have at least 5 years of experience in quality environment
  • You have experience in Software/automation/eQMS or equivalent knowledge
  • You have a first experience with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, MDD, MDR and MDSAP environment in link with QMS activities.
  • You are fluent in French and English
  • You have experience with Word and Excel
  • You have decision making skills
  • You can work under pressure and have critical thinking
  • You are autonomous and organized
  • You are a problem solver
