Our client is a growing and innovative biotech dedicated to developing a disruptive and integrated platform of biotherapeutic production. The company aims to produce biotherapeutics, particularly monoclonal antibodies, in a more cost-effective and scalable way than other current bioproduction methods, in order to increase the availability of these bioproducts and to take part in the “One health” challenge.
To strengthen their molecular biology team based in Liège, we are looking for a senior scientist.
As senior scientist, you will participate to the development of their robust and efficient gene editing strategy leading to recombinant protein expression.
Education
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry or equivalent (Master with experience)
Experience
- Experience in molecular biology including techniques for production of monoclonal antibodies is required
- Previous experience in antibody sequencing and structure-function relationship regarding immunogenicity, half-life and delivery route is a strong asset
- Laboratory Animal Science certification (FELASA) and experience with animal models is an asset
- Hands-on experience with cell culture/cell-based assays including immunofluorescence, reporter assays and functional assays
- Experience as project leader
