Technical Services Engineer - Industrial routeurs - Nivelles

To reinforce its team, our client is looking for a passionate and hands-on Technical Service Engineer.

The Job

The Technical services engineer participate in all technical services activities inside the Product department; these activities can be described as technical training for sales channels and local support services, online support (emailing), technical documentation and managing support website, and provide general expertise on the products. You will report to the Technical Services Manager.


  • Answer to technical question (level 2 and level 3 support level)
  • Analyze and reproduce the product issues and report them to firmware & hardware team
  • Create and maintain technical documentation required to use products
  • Create and maintain support shared platforms (technical forum, technical support website, webinars, etc.)
  • Provide technical training to the product distribution channels (distributors, partners, etc.)
  • Take part to technical events related to their products
  • Work according to defined processes, procedures and policies
  • Responsible for specific, named information assets
  • Maintains and reviews security controls for allocated asset(s)
  • Ensures the relevant entry in the asset inventory is kept up to date
  • Responsible and accountable for their information security


  • Industrial Engineer or Equivalent
  • Good English technical writing and speaking
  • Between 2 and 5 years experience
  • Experience in web programming in at least one of those languages: javascript, HTML, java, CSS, .NET
  • Knowledge in network, telecommunication, Internet/TCP
  • Knowledge in PLC protocols
  • Passionate about new technologies
  • Self-learning, curious
  • Client oriented
