To support this development, the company is recruiting a Purchasing Manager.
As Purchasing Manager, you oversee the entire purchasing function (raw materials, components, hardware, tooling and related services) to secure supply, optimize total cost of ownership and guarantee production continuity in a demanding industrial environment.
You act as a key interface between suppliers and internal teams (Production, Warehouse, R&D, Internal Sales, Accounting), with direct impact on operational and financial performance.
You report directly to General Management.
Translate internal needs into structured purchasing plans
Issue purchase orders in line with budgets and technical specifications
Secure supply timelines and manage supplier follow-up
Anticipate and arbitrate priorities in case of supply constraints
Define and optimize stock parameters (min/max, safety stock, reorder points)
Improve stock rotation and reduce obsolete or dormant inventory
Supervise inventory processes and ensure data accuracy
Guarantee material availability for production
Manage supplier claims, returns and disputes
Implement supplier evaluation processes (quality, cost, delivery, service)
Monitor non-conformities and corrective actions
Identify and qualify alternative suppliers
Conduct supplier audits (technical capability, compliance, quality)
Maintain a robust and up-to-date supplier base
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, logistics and penalties
Manage supplier contracts and total cost optimization
Define and monitor approved carriers
Ensure fluid communication with production, warehouse, R&D and finance
Guarantee administrative and logistical compliance of deliveries
Participate in coordination meetings and purchasing strategy alignment
Supervise raw material and tooling warehouses
Coordinate warehouse teams and workflow priorities
Ensure safety standards and 5S principles
Propose process optimization initiatives
Conduct market watch (suppliers, trade fairs, innovations)
Contribute to operational excellence initiatives
Technical or business degree (Bachelor minimum) or equivalent experience
Proven experience in purchasing within an industrial or technical environment
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Good understanding of industrial flows and stock management
Comfortable with ERP systems and digital tools
Professional English required
